Public Hearing Notification – Proposed Rate Increase Effective July 1, 2026

As of April 27, 2026, notices regarding a proposed rate increase have been distributed via electronic notification and bill insert. The proposed rate adjustments are scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2026. The official Public Hearing Notification, which outlines the proposed changes in detail, is available for review below.

We recognize that increases in service rates can place an added burden on our customers, particularly during a time of rising costs. These decisions are made with careful consideration, and while rate adjustments are not undertaken lightly, they are necessary to ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality service.

The public hearing will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Administration Building located at:
12952 E. Highway 20
Clearlake Oaks, CA 95423

District Receives Preliminary Approval for New Water Improvement Project 💧

The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has preliminarily approved Clearlake Oaks County Water District for its next major water improvement project. Funding will be provided through the Expedited Drinking Water Grant Program (EDWG), with execution of the funding agreement anticipated by May 2026.

The total grant award of $36,060,258 will be used to make critical improvements to the District’s water distribution system, storage facilities, booster pump stations, and water treatment processes.

 

📣 Board Meeting Time Update

Beginning January 15, 2026, Clearlake Oaks County Water District Board Meetings will now start at 10:00 a.m.

This new meeting time will apply to all future board meetings unless otherwise noticed. We appreciate your continued involvement and look forward to seeing you at our meetings!

 

**RESOLVED** Important Update: 24/7 Phone Payment Line Temporarily Disconnected

The new 24/7 Pay By Phone number(s) are English (707) 309-7208 and Spanish (707) 419-3381

We want to inform our customers that the 24/7 phone payment line is currently disconnected. We understand this service is widely used and apologize for the inconvenience. Please rest assured that we are actively working to restore it as soon as possible. Once the new number is available, it will be posted on our website and included on your monthly billing statements. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

 

Water Outage Notice – Main Break

Customers in Orchard Shores, on Sulphur Bank Drive, Elem Indian Colony, and at 13537 E. Highway 20, Clearlake Oaks are currently experiencing a water outage due to a main break.

Our crews are actively working to restore service as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make the necessary repairs.
